SPX stands for "Small Press Expo" and serves as the preeminent showcase for the exhibition of independent comic books and the discovery of new creative talent. There is wide assortment of ethnic and festival food, live music, dancers, workshops, kid's & family activities, and vendors galore! Arts on Belmont is a special section of Adam's Morgan Day located along a shady, tree-lined Belmont Road between Columbia Rd and 18th Street. This is where you can discover original work of some the best artists in the Washington DC area. Artists and artisans showcase and sell glassware and metalwork, paintings, ceramics, jewelry, sculptures, photography and more! Arts On Belmont opens early at 10am so serious shoppers can browse and buy unique finds before the music and other activities begin.
