Rockville Art League Juried Members' Winter Show December 8, 2024 – January 17, 2025 Glenview Mansion The Rockville Art League is proud to present the RAL Juried Members’ Winter Show, juried by Lorena Bradford, on exhibit at Glenview Mansion. This show is stunning! Glenview Mansion Art Gallery is open weekdays: Monday – Friday, 9:00am-4:30pm. Located at the Rockville Civic Center Park/ 603 Edmonston Dr./ Rockville. THIS SATURDAY - 10am - 6pm - Alexandria, VA Art on the Avenue is a multi-cultural arts festival celebrating our community’s diversity through the arts in the Del Ray neighborhood in Alexandria, Virginia. This festival is held on the first Saturday in October, rain or shine, and was voted "Best Art Event" by Virginia Living Magazine. Find my "Arty4ever" tent on Mt. Vernon Avenue (close to Howell Ave.)  For additional info about the festival  click here . Last Chance! Artomatic in Frederick ends Saturday, Oct.5th so this is your last chance to check it out. My "Arty4ever" exhibit is on the main floor of building 1 located at: 115 E Church Street in Frederick, MD RED exhibit I have a painting in an exhibit of red artwork at the Art DC gallery (located at: 5710 Baltimore Ave., Hyattsville, MD 20781) through Oct.  27th. Tomorrow evening (March 2nd) at 7:30pm is the closing reception party at the ArtDC Gallery for the "WhoDunit" art exhibit... ( Click here for details .)  Also tomorrow evening at 7:30pm is the opening reception at the Open Hearth Foundation for the "Hail All the Gods and Goddesses" art exhibit... In addition to art exhibits and a bunch of freelance projects I have also put my house on the market and it has a pending contract so it looks like Auger Artwork Studios will be moving this year! With all this excitement and running around it's nice to sometimes take a break.  I don't often drink beer, but when I do I enjoy a nice Amber from Dungeness Brewing Company . One of my clients, Mic Sager, was nice enough to send me some sample product of his tasty microbrew. The label features my illustration of a dungeness crab bench-pressing a keg.  Cheers!
