Below are a few of my upcoming arty events to put on your calendar!  I've been working on a bunch of new paintings and I hope you can come out to one of the arty events I'll be participating in this year. Cheers!  July 9 1:30 - 3:30,  Rockville Art League Board Members Reception  at Glenview Mansion: A few of my paintings will be on exhibit in the conference room gallery. Aug. 26 12pm - 6pm,  The 17th Street Festival  in Washington DC features djs, dance troupes, bands, drag performances, and (of course) art! Sept. 23 11am - 6pm,  Clarendon Day  is Arlington, Virginia's best loved and most diverse annual street festival!   Oct. 7 10am - 6pm,  Art on the Avenue  is Alexandria, Virginia's annual arts and music festival that features over 300 fine artisans!...

Art as Politics Exhibit (and other arty events)

Our shared reality of pressing social problems and divisive politics is reflected in the work of over 90 national juried artists. Dupont Underground Fundraiser

Did you know there is unused space beneath Dupont Circle?  Wouldn't it be nifty to convert this into a world-class center for the arts?  I think so. On Friday, September 7th, the Arts Coalition for the Dupont Underground (ACDU) will host a fundraiser “Aboveground” at Eastern Market’s North Hall.
