The event takes place the first Saturday in October, rain or shine, in the Del Ray neighborhood of Alexandria, Virginia. The 24th annual Art on the Avenue festival will take place Saturday, Oct. 5th from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. in the Del Ray neighborhood of Alexandria on Mount Vernon Avenue between Hume and Bellefonte Avenues. The event is free and open to all.  Activities include: Over 350 juried artists, 4 stages of live music, children’s activities, international food, pie baking contest, and more! GRUMP at Artisphere! The 4th annual GRUMP will be bigger and better than ever! 75 local vendors, snacks, music and fun. My space is located in The Artisphere's Terrace Gallery. THIS SATURDAY - 10am - 6pm - Alexandria, VA Art on the Avenue is a multi-cultural arts festival celebrating our community’s diversity through the arts in the Del Ray neighborhood in Alexandria, Virginia. This festival is held on the first Saturday in October, rain or shine, and was voted "Best Art Event" by Virginia Living Magazine. Find my "Arty4ever" tent on Mt.
