The 24th annual Art on the Avenue festival will take place Saturday, Oct. 5th from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. in the Del Ray neighborhood of Alexandria on Mount Vernon Avenue between Hume and Bellefonte Avenues. The event is free and open to all.  Activities include: Over 350 juried artists, 4 stages of live music, children’s activities, international food, pie baking contest, and more! This December, my  offbeat fine art will be on exhibit at  Tryst coffeehouse in Adams Morgan.  This exhibit will feature many of my larger sized paintings that are shown less often.   Exhibit Opening:   Thursday, December 2nd from 7 to 9pm Artist Reception:   Saturday, December 18th from 5 to 7pm Additional art will be available for sale at these events and there will also be a demonstration to show how some of the paintings on display react to blacklight.   Tryst is located at 2459 18th Street, NW www.trystdc.com
