Below are a few of my upcoming arty events to put on your calendar!  I've been working on a bunch of new paintings and I hope you can come out to one of the arty events I'll be participating in this year. Cheers!  July 9 1:30 - 3:30,  Rockville Art League Board Members Reception  at Glenview Mansion: A few of my paintings will be on exhibit in the conference room gallery. Aug. 26 12pm - 6pm,  The 17th Street Festival  in Washington DC features djs, dance troupes, bands, drag performances, and (of course) art! Sept. 23 11am - 6pm,  Clarendon Day  is Arlington, Virginia's best loved and most diverse annual street festival!   Oct. 7 10am - 6pm,  Art on the Avenue  is Alexandria, Virginia's annual arts and music festival that features over 300 fine artisans!...

GRUMP at Artisphere! The 4th annual GRUMP will be bigger and better than ever! 75 local vendors, snacks, music and fun. My space is located in The Artisphere's Terrace Gallery. I hope "yule" be able to stop by! And, bring the kids because the 1966 cartoon classic, "How the Grinch Stole Christmas," will play all day long in the Dome Theatre for free. Shop local this holiday season AND get your picture taken with a yeti! SMUDGE is this Saturday! March 8th, from 12 noon to 6pm at Artisphere! Believe it or not... when I was a kid I drew comics of creatures I called Smudges. ( Click here  for an interview in which I speak more about that.) I'm looking forward to participating in the SMUDGE comic expo this Saturday. My painting "Bo the Bulldog" is currently on display at Gallery Underground in Crystal City (Arlington, VA) along with the juried animal-themed artwork of a number of other extraordinary artists. Please join me at the opening reception - and fundraiser benefitting The Animal Welfare League of Arlington - THIS FRIDAY, April 12th, from 5 to 8 pm .
