Spend Memorial Day Weekend in Rockville!

Get ready for Rockville's biggest party of the year! The 22nd annual HOMETOWN HOLIDAYS CELEBRATION   in Rockville Town Center featuring many entertainers, (including rock band SOUL ASYLUM ) plus children's rides, one-of-a-kind vendors ( like me ), the Taste of Rockville, a Memorial Day parade, and more! I'll have lots of new, fun artwork on sale from 1-8 p.m. on Saturday, May 29th and Sunday, May 30th! Stop by my "Arty4ever" tent and say hello! It's easy to get to Hometown Holidays by taking the Metro's Red Line to the Rockville station. Exit on the Rockville Pike side of the station, and follow the sounds or music across the street to Middle Lane.

ArtDC 12x12 Art Show!

The artdc.org gallery at the Lustine Center in Hyattsville, MD is having an exhibit of small (12"x12" or smaller), affordable ($300 or less) artwork.  I have 2 pieces on display: A pink elephant and a robot that actually lights up! There is a special preview this Saturday, May 8th from 7 to 9pm where you'll be able to get first dibs on some great art. Lustine Center 5710 Baltimore Ave. Hyattsville, MD 20781 And then, the main reception/party happens on Saturday, May 22nd in conjunction with the Hyattsville Arts Festival!

I provide art instruction to some wonderful kids named Ethan and Raquel.  Currently they have artwork entered on a website called:  RefrigeratorArtist.com The site allows visitors to register and vote for their favorite art each day.  It would mean a lot to Raquel and Ethan if you could take a few seconds to vote for their art.   Thanks so much for helping to encourage the next generation of artists!
